Casserole with zavitoni

Ingredients for 1 serving
  • Dobrodeya zavitoni – 400 g
  • Sweet butter 6 tablespoons
  • Flour 3 tablespoons
  • Mustard 1 tablespoon
  • Milk 3 glasses
  • Onion 1 pcs.
  • Laurel leaf 1 pc.
  • Sweet pepper 0.5 teaspoon
  • Eggs 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese 400 g
  • Common salt 1 teaspoon
  • Black ground pepper at option
  • Bread crumbs 50 g
Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil zavitoni in the salted water until cooked. Meanwhile, melt 3 tablespoons of sweet butter. Add flour and mustard and mix well.
  2. In a separate saucepan, mix the milk, chopped onion, laurel leaf and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat the eggs. Grate the cheese, season with salt and pepper. Put zavitoni in the baking dish and cover with the prepared mixture. Top with the remaining cheese.
  4. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes.
