Spaghetti with bacon, tomatoes and poached egg

Ingredients for 1 serving
  • White vinegar 2 tablespoons
  • Dobrodeya spaghetti 340 g
  • Bacon, cut into cubes 6slices
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Cherry tomatoes 7-8 pcs.
  • Fresh chicken eggs 4 pcs.
  • Grated Parmigiano 1/2 cup
  • Basil leaves 1/2 cup
  • Black ground pepper, at option
  • Olive oil
Cooking Instructions

It is necessary to prepare 2 two pots of water: one for spaghetti, the second for poached eggs.

  1. Boil spaghetti in the salted boiling water until cooked. Place in the colander. Put aside.
  2. Fry the bacon and tomatoes in a frying pan in olive oil. Season with pepper and salt. Add spaghetti and mix well.
  3. To prepare the poached eggs, bring the water to a boil in a separate cooking pot, add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, lower the temperature so that the water hardly boils. Stir the water in a saucepan with a beater to make a funnel. Smash the egg as close as possible to the water surface and immerse the raw egg in the funnel. Boil the egg for 2 minutes, then use the slotted spoon to get it out of the water and put on the dish.
  4. Place spaghetti with bacon and tomatoes in a serving plate, sprinkle with basil and grated cheese. Place the poached egg on top.
